Sam Shankland '09 1st at the CalChess State Championship

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, Sam Shankland '09 played in the CalChess State Championship and won for the second year in a row. Sam, who graduated last June, is currently taking a year off from school to play chess. For more details visit: fpawn chess blog
