Head of School Murray Cohen to Retire in 2011

Murray Cohen, Head of College Prep for the past 11 years, has announced that he will be retiring June 2011. For over thirty years, first as a member of the faculty, then as an administrator and finally as Head of School, Murray has devoted his time, wisdom, heart and soul to College Prep.

The Head Search Committee has created a webpage to keep the community informed of their progress in finding a new Head. The webpage offers detailed information on the search timeline and process, as well as information on Resource Group 175, the search consultant firm that the school has engaged to assist with the critical search for a new Head.

The Search Committee will be co-chaired by Board Chair Arpad Molnar '87 and Marc Sugiyama '84, and assisted by Board Vice-Chair, Tonia Hsieh. Other members of this committee will be announced by mid-February. Please check the search webpage for updates.
