Head of School Murray Cohen to Retire in 2011
Murray Cohen, Head of College Prep for the past 11 years, has announced that he will be retiring June 2011. For over thirty years, first as a member of the faculty, then as an administrator and finally as Head of School, Murray has devoted his time, wisdom, heart and soul to College Prep. Joy Crisman & John Faggi Retiring in 2010
Long time English teachers Joy Crisman and John Faggi are retiring at the end of this school year. They take away a combined 62 years of experience at College Prep and will leave behind decades of powerful teaching and treasured friendships. 

Challenge Match Brings in New Funds
College Prep has received a $1 million pledge from an alumnus in the form of a challenge match to his fellow alumni. Every gift made today by alumni to the school’s endowment will be matched 1:2 up to $1 million.

Miranda (Grossinger) July '92 Art Featured in Public Exhibition

Currently, Miranda (Grossinger) July '92 has her art featured in an outdoor sculpture show in Manhattan's Union Square. "Eleven Heavy Things" made its debut in the 2009 Venice Biennale. Read more about her show in the New York Times.

Susan Schwab '87 Wins National Biomedical Science Award

Susan Schwab ’87 won the distinguished National Pew Scholars Award in Biomedical sciences last week. Read more about Susan and her distinguished award at “The Pew Charitable Trusts".

Charles Strauss '06 Founds Quidditch Team at Cal
